A FANATIC'S LOG

A FANATIC'S LOG

SUN, 30NOV2025
- Cut some Neophyte bits free from their sprue.
- Some skin is finally on the Orks.
- Coffee frame staining complete.
- "Tuman" Project coming back to life. I'll just coffee stain the frame today so I can put max time on the Orks.
- GW Shop. Picked up final paints needed to start Trukk Orks. Finally found the skin paint scheme I'm going with... what a relief!
- Amazon: Gimble for camera, small rolling desk, desk mounted tray. Expected 15 DEC.
- Couldn't sleep. 0430 and up.

SAT, 29NOV2025
- 3x hours trying to perfect Ork flesh.
- Ugh, accidentally found Slaanesh Daemonettes when I was looking for something else. I think my Inquisition will be using one as a Daemonette-host. It will be "good" for the narrative.
-"Tuman" project may have life yet.
- I just returned from the local 5x story art store. My Emperor!!!
- It is 3am. AD-FINEM site upgrade complete. Very pleased with where it's at. I will remove "Under Construction" from the banner; however, I will add a "how to" portion later.

FRI, 28NOV2025
- "Tuman" terrain project failed. Clay dried/cracked. Secondary features (palm trees) were salvageable.
- Built 2x handles to mount S/M/L miniatures for painting... it will separate painting the bases and the miniatures themselves.
- 5x Trukk Orks Primed and Zenithal highlighted.
- Tested out thick string/bandages against cloth-glue for use in future projects. (Didn't harden to the degree I expected)
- Tested out putting static grass on an Ork and painted it purple... added some red eyes and painted teeth. It will work for a "furry" but I think a Skaven Clan Rat will be a better base.

THU, 27NOV2025
- Log Begins. Grim-Dark conversion and painting hysteria warps my mind. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about hundreds of Black Templar, Inquisition, & Ork projects.
- "Tuman" terrain project. Palm Trees took 5x hours to paint. Sculpted clay onto an old GW Warhammer plastic terrain base that was actually for trees once. Magnets imbedded in trees and clay. Clay will need a day to dry.
