Femme Fatale
"Rage is just weaponized Love..."
1st use of epoxy to smooth a print. Applied a zenithal prep before the red contrast paint. The natural light did the rest for the image.

Fading
And the Devil said to me, "I will give you love... but it will never be yours."
Found this piece on Maker World... a challenge to print. I've only got 1 of 5 to come through.

Skeet Skeet's Face Plate
The context is a Servitor Skull from Warhammer 40K. It came out well enough. The face cover does not secure to the A1 well enough for me to trust it... so it is a temporary adornment for now.

Pot Heads
For plants. I saw some serious lines in the prints which were un- smoothable. I tried adding liquid plastic to the worst of them. After priming, I used a stone texture spray paint. They eyes came out really well.

Inquisition & Retinue
More building but I got some painting in as well. This project is even more incomplete than the Templars one. I will say I was happy to kit-bash a non 40K model to make a Rogue Trader.

Black Templar Initiates
Extremely pleased with how this Squad turned out. I used a combination of acrylics and Enamel washes to vary the textures. I ended up not sealing them with a varnish for fear of ruining all of the techniques used.

Black Templar Neophytes
So very few models but they still took weeks and weeks... a few hours a day. Each are highly customized when compared to the stock model. The bases were custom as well.
*1st trial w/ Villany Inks

Downed Valyrie
The project took around a week as I took my time switching between contrast paints and washes. The number is hand painted. It was the 1st major project I completed after nearly a decade of not hobbying. Here we go again!

Building Therapy
Where as the hardest most tedious part of this hobby is painting... the most enjoyable is in building the models... and even more, building the standard issue model in unique ways.

Dirty Down Rust Trial
I'd seen a few youtube videos on this stuff. There is a bit of a learning curve but once I figured it out the results were remarkable.

'Trukk' Ork Conversions
Using bits that were "raised" from deep storage, I began niche conversions. I never completed this project but I did get comfortable kit bashing and using chains again. I still had the leader and wartrukk to go...

Project: Tumon
The idea was to honor my Son with a diorama of Guam as that's where he is stationed. In the process I got to refresh multiple skills from a resin pour to setting magnets. The pineapple was actually for a fish tank. It was fun!

CONEX Box & Barrels
This set seem to take for ever. Basic paints and techniques were very rusty... no pun intended. I spent maybe six hours on the lot which should probably have only taken two.
