Greetings Meat-Things!

To think, 1x month of 2026 is already gone!

We must double our efforts and stop procrastinating...

I spent most of the last week working on Lord Captain Karma Black, who will be my primary Rogue Trader in the Crusader Force. His story transgresses various games going all the way back to Mordheim when he was the leader of his own Mercenary Warband. Then he was the Rogue Trader the Steam game and now he's made it into physical space as the miniature you see; although much more under powered than in his previous forms.

I'd say the most difficult part was painting the eyes... eventually I was able to get the eye cavity nicely shadowed as you can see in the lower left image. To which I went full Jonny Dep... using a black paint first and then over laying white but leaving black on the edges, creating that eye liner look. As my friend calls it, the J.D. Vance look...

Painting wasn't complete at this point... but you can probably see how he turned out elsewhere on the site.

Death Cult Assassin & Electro-Maester w/ Nuclear powered "Zap gun"

The rest of Lord Captain Karma Black's crew will consist of a Medic, an Assassin, and an Electro-Maester. There were models for these that came with a 40k set called Blackstone Fortress but they looked cheap and lacked personality. So, I decided to build my own from Necromunda models to match my own narrative. At this point I only have to put together the Medic... which will likely be done by the time I post this :). I'll post a shot of the group when all are put together...
