Greetings All! Another fine week of hobbying and dreaming up new ideas for future projects. As you can see, I finally built one of the Black Templar Neophytes and got some paint on him. I'd say he's done for now (minus the base which are on order) but I will touch up some areas as I get to painting the 3x other Neophytes in his squad.

I pretty much spent all of Saturday working on them. What I like most about the models is each one has a visual narrative to them. Whether it be weapon choice or the massive amount of equipment and pouches they are adorned with. Note, a Neophyte is the equivilant of a knight's squire so they have the burden of carrying all the extra stuff and be much less armored than the Black Templar Initiates who they serve. The Templar Initiates are absolutely massive in scale and it will be neat to see the entire squad painted and together one day.

The M7 gimble system finally showed up. However, I have been putting off using it because I want to know all of the ins-and-outs before I start. I also don't want it to get in the way of my painting time just yet. When the holiday period finally hits full bore, I'll pick up a new and dedicated I-PHONE 17 Pro max and then I'll start. It will mainly be short productions... "how to" or something on newly completed projects. I'll probably have to build up an associated instagram account or Youtube channel; but all in due course.

Around a month ago, I bought an out-of-production Inquisitor model off of Ebay. Considering you can't get him in stores any more, I thought I paid a fair price which amounted to about double a current character model. I have several projects in front of this guy but I wanted to proudly show off Erasmus. He's going to be one of the key Inquisitors in the narrative Crusade for my Black Templars.

While on the topic, I also bought around 7x online-purchase-only miniatures from the Games Workshop (GW) site. They are a mixture of what will count as Agents of the Imperium and are some of the best models GW has ever put out. I'll definitely dedicate a post on just them. Bad news is, while they are currently out for delivery, they are apparently not coming directly to my residence. Sadness.

Well, that's all thats on my mind for right now... time to get to the work bench and get painting!
